In Broad Daylight: PPP leader gunned down

SAKHAKOT: Former Dargai nazim and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Bacha Shireen Khan was killed and his companion was injured when unidentified men opened fire at them on Friday. A Dargai levies official said Khan was returning from a funeral with his friend Ismail when the incident took place at Purana Qabristan, Dargai. Khan died on the spot. Ismail was rushed to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital from where he was referred to a hospital in Peshawar. Levies officials reached the site and started a search operation but no arrests were made till filing of this report. A case was registered against unidentified men and further investigation is under way.
