Deadly collisions: 7 dead, dozens injured in three accidents

28 others were injured in three traffic accidents in Lahore on Thursday.

At least seven people were killed and 28 others were injured in three traffic accidents in Lahore on Thursday.


A bus carrying people from Peshawer to Raiwind collided with a coaster from the opposite direction in Saggian area. A third bus then hit the two. Four people were killed in the accident. The injured were taken to Mayo Hospital, where condition of six of them was stated to be critical. Traffic on the road remained suspended for three hours. Separately, 10 people were injured after a bus collided with a coaster at Faizpur Interchange on Motorway. The injured were taken to Jinnah Hospital.

The third accident occurred on the Sheikhupura Road at Kot Abdul Malik, where a tractor-trolley collided with a truck. Three people were killed in the collision. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the accidents.
