KARACHI: All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) President Hameed Haroon and Secretary General Sarmad Ali have expressed their profound grief over the demise of Begum Akhtar Abid, wife of veteran publisher Kazi Abdul Majid Abid and mother of Kazi Asad Abid, publisher Ibrat Group of Publications, a statement said on Wednesday. The APNS office-bearers and members of the executive committee have offered their condolence to Kazi Asad Abid and his family and have prayed that may Almighty Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give them courage and patience to bear this irreparable loss.
