Duped: Taxi stolen

The police registered a case against the robbers

RAWALPINDI:


A man was deprived of his taxi at gunpoint in the Saddar Bairuni area of Rawalpindi.


Muhammad Javed lodged a report with the local police that he was at Baraf Khana Chowk when two persons hired his taxi for Fauji Camp.


On their way, they picked another man who was allegedly part of the
gang.


When the car reached Kot Kolian, they pulled out their pistols and held the driver hostage.


They tied him with ropes and drove away in his taxi after dumping him on the roadside. The police registered a case against the robbers.
