Five tortured bodies were found in the Manghopir neighbourhood of Karachi on Monday, Express News reported.
The bodies were recovered from bushes near the Northern Bypass and could not be immediately identified.
According to Edhi Foundation, the deceased were kidnapped, tortured and then shot to death.
Considered a no-go area for security forces, Manghopir is notorious for harbouring militants.
Yesterday, Crime Investigation Department of the Sindh police claimed to have foiled a major act of terrorism during Muharram 9 and 10 by arresting a would-be suicide bomber along with his four comrades during a targeted raid in Kunwari Colony area of Manghopir.
