Search Operation: Police pick up 41 suspects
They also recovered stolen gold, weapons and two motorbikes from the suspects
ISLAMABAD:
The Margalla police on Saturday arrested 41 suspects during a search operation in various areas of the city, a police spokesman said. Following directions of IGP Tahir Alam Khan and SSP Asmatullah Junejo, a search operation was initiated and the police along with contingents of Pakistan Rangers conducted checking at slums, hotels, restaurants and Afghan settlements. According to details, the SSP directed ASP Yasir Afridi to carry out high vigilance in his area after which he and the Margalla SHO conducted a search operation in Mehrabadia, Machar Colony, Afghan slums and Sector F-10/3. Special teams nabbed persons who could not produce any authentic identification document and further investigation is under way. They also recovered stolen gold, weapons and two motorbikes from the suspects.
