
Port Qasim have defeated national T20 champions Peshawar Panthers by 196 runs in only three days in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (Gold).
Despite being bundled out for 166 in the first innings, Port Qasim took a 40-run lead. They then added 376-9 in their second innings, with both Khurram Manzoor and Umar Amin scoring 96 each, to set Panthers a target of 416.
However, the Panthers were dismissed for just 220 in 39 overs as Abdur Rauf finished with figures of 7-69.
Meanwhile, ZTBL seem to have taken the upper hand in an even match against the Rawalpindi Rams as they finished the day on 78-1, chasing a target of 244. Both teams scored 205 in the first innings but ZTBL were only able to make 243, despite Shahid Yousuf making an incredible unbeaten 121 off just 109 balls.
At Karachi’s National Stadium, Wapda will be hoping to wrap up their match quickly after being set an 89-run target by Karachi Dolphins. Wapda, who had a 231-run first innings lead, dismissed Dolphins for 311 in the second innings and ended the day on 15-1.
NBP have defeated Multan Tigers by an innings and 42 runs as the Tigers were dismissed for 280 in their second innings. The Tigers were bundled out for just 68 in the first innings, with NBP gaining a 322-run advantage. The lead proved too much as the Tigers were unable to overcome the deficit and eventually suffered an innings’ defeat.
The Lahore Lions are tumbling towards defeat as they struggle to overcome a 255-run first innings deficit against UBL. The Lahori outfit ended the day at 189-7, still needing 66 more runs to avoid an innings’ defeat.

PIA have won by 102 after dismissing Quetta Bears for only 113 in the second innings.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad Hawks are struggling against KRL as they ended the day on 136-6 in the second innings, still 147 runs behind KRL’s first innings score.
The Lahore Eagles need 353 more to win as they finished day three 21-0 against PTU.
The Bahawalpur Stags are 265-9 in their second innings, just 44 runs ahead of HBL.
Meanwhile, Sialkot Stallions are also struggling at 131-7, just 130 runs ahead of State Bank.
