Deadly turn: One killed in road accident

MUZAFFARABAD: A man was killed on Wednesday in a road accident in Chinari, some 40 kilometres away from the capital city of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. According to the police, a private jeep was on its way from Muzaffarabad to Chinari when it fell into a gorge near Chakhama Tarran, Hattain Bala while negotiating a sharp curve. The driver, identified as Muhammad Sarfraz, died on the spot. Locals rushed to the site of the accident and pulled out the body from the wreckage. The police handed over the body to the deceased’s family. Later, he was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Chinari.
