Dies at age of 79 years after fighting a long battle with illness

The Express Tribune's senior sub-editor Emmad Hameed’s father, Dr Mohammad Abdul Hameed, passed away in Karachi on Monday. He died at the age of 79 years after fighting a long battle with illness. He served in Gulf countries, UK and Pakistan as an anesthesiologist. He is survived by two daughters and a son. His funeral prayers were offered at Mubarik Masjid, Sea View, and he was laid to rest at the Gizri Graveyard, Phase IV, Defence Housing Authority.
