Dengue Inspection: EPA seals five sites

The inspection teams removed stagnant water from 12 vulnerable sites

The Environment Protection Agency (EPA) on Saturday sealed five sites during its anti-dengue inspection drive. The EPA teams inspected 93 sites.         


The inspection teams removed stagnant water from 12 vulnerable sites. They checked 58 tyre shops, 21 junkyards, two plant nurseries and 12 under construction sites. The teams found dengue larvae at two places.


A total of five sites were sealed for violating the preventive measures, while 81 sites were declared clear of dengue larva.
