Officials With Candles: Vigil held to mark World Polio Day
Several government officials also participated in the vigil
LAHORE:
District Coordination Officer Muhammad Usman said on Friday that two drops of polio vaccine could potentially secure the future of Pakistan. He was speaking at a candlelight vigil organised by the government at the Town Hall to mark the World Polio Day. Usman said an anti-polio campaign had been started on Friday in 74 sensitive union councils. Several government officials also participated in the vigil.
