
This is in pursuance of the federal government’s anti-corruption drive to stop illegal activities within government departments, organisations and authorities.
Mohmand said that all complaints with regard to corruption would immediately be forwarded to FIA. He directed officers of the authority to display their official identity cards at all times, especially during public dealings.
A ban has also been imposed on the use of mobile phones in wings/departments that deal with the public.
This means that during public timings, no third party will be able to influence proceedings via telephone calls.
“There will be a complete ban on the entry of property dealers in the authority except the general public in connection with their genuine problems,” he added. He warned that CDA will not allow corruption in any form and there will be zero-tolerance in this regard.
“Departmental as well as criminal action will be taken against people involved in corruption,” said Mohmand.
Preparation of a data base of all officials working in the authority has been ordered and will be submitted to Ministry of Interior / FIA.
Director Security of CDA has been nominated as Head of the Vigilance Unit to personally supervise/monitor corruption cases and report the same to the Chairman CDA on a daily basis. “Anyone having complaints against any officer/official of the authority may register his / her complaint on Phone Number 051-9252994 or e-mail webmaster@cda.gov.pk,” he said.
