Development: MUET hosts environment conference

Around 30 local and foreign experts will share their research in various fields connected to topic of the conference

An international conference, titled ‘Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development’, was inaugurated at the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology on Wednesday.


Around 30 local and foreign experts will share their research in various fields connected to the topic of the conference. The moot, which started on Wednesday, will go on for two more days and will end on Friday.

The MUET will also put forward recommendations to the federal and provincial governments in the light of this research.  The inaugural ceremony was addressed by MUET’s vice-chancellor Prof Muhammad Aslam Uqaili, Sindh Agriculture University’s vice-chancellor Mujeebur Rehman Sahrai as well as experts from China, Japan and Turkey.
