Motive unknown: Kohat university lecturer shot dead

MANSEHRA: Unidentified gunmen shot dead a lecturer in Mansehra on Tuesday. Police quoted Professor Zahid, a lecturer at Hazara University, saying he received a phone call from his neighbours who informed him that they heard gunshots and later saw some unidentified men fleeing. Zahid said when he reached home he found his wife Sonia, a lecturer at Kohat University, dead. The victim had been shot four times. However, the complainant did not nominate anyone for his wife’s murder.
