Computerisation: Land record centres set up

Nearly 55 million land owners had been registered

SARGODHA: The Board of Revenue has set up computerised land record centres at all 143 tehsils of the province and land records of 24,000 villages has been computerised.    

According to a spokesperson of the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Board of Revenue, land computerisation of Lodhran, Hafizabad, Nankana, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhelum, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Jhang, Okara, Narowal, Chakwal, Toba Tek Singh, Rahim Yar Khan, Attock, Sargodha and Bahawalpur had been completed.

He said nearly 55 million land owners had been registered.
