Extramarital: Man axed to death in Mandani

Woman also injured when her husband allegedly found the two of them in a comprised position

CHARSADDA: A man was axed to death and a woman was injured when her husband allegedly found the two of them in a comprised position in Mandani area of Charsadda. A police official said a case was filed stating Ghairat Khan, a resident of Mandani, came home and found his wife and Imtiaz together. Infuriated, Khan picked up an axe and struck his wife and her alleged lover several times, killing the man, a resident of Behram Dheri, instantly and injuring the woman severely. The official added Khan escaped after the attack, while the woman was taken to DHQ Hospital, Charsadda in critical condition. Later, she was referred to a hospital in Peshawar.
