FAISALABAD: Three sisters were abducted on their way to a seminary by unidentified men on Thursday. The Samanabad SHO told The Express Tribune that Sidra*, 11, Aasia*, 10, and Arooj*, 9, were students of a local seminary in Dilawar Colony. “Early on Thursday morning, the three left their home to study at the madrassa. They did not reach it. When they did not return home, their parents started looking for them. However, they could not be found,” he said. The parents of the girls then contacted police, who have registered a case. In their complaint, they said that some boys in the neighbourhood had been harassing the girls whenever they stepped outside. Police have taken two of the suspects into custody and are interrogating them. A team has been formed to look for the girls.
