At protesters’ mercy: Policeman searched

The policeman said the protestors have set up a picket in front of the Parliament

ISLAMABAD: Protesters at Constitution Avenue manhandled an official of the Punjab police on Wednesday. A police official said Asghar Goraya, a senior inspector, was intercepted by protesters and following a body search, his official weapons were taken away from him.

The policeman said the protestors have set up a picket in front of the Parliament and have been conducting snap-checking before allowing anyone to proceed.
