I will break Nawaz-Zardari partnership: Imran
Says govt needs to subsidise the agriculture sector and introduce reforms.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has asserted he will soon break the partnership of Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
Addressing a mammoth PTI gathering at Ibn-e-Qasim Bagh Stadium on Friday, Imran hinted at the possibility of the PPP joining forces with the PTI, but then hastened to pour scorn on the party.
He said the leadership of both PPP and PML-N have stashed away billions in foreign banks. “They have filed false statements of assets before the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).”
“Politics in Pakistan has become a business and we will end this lucrative enterprise,” he told the cheering crowd. The PTI chief announced that he will approach the Supreme Court and ECP for seeking access to the declaration of all assets of Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari and their families.
He said that in the past politicians were either right-wingers, left-wingers or religious, but since the emergence of PTI all the three sets of politicians “have united against us” to cover up their wrongdoings.
The PTI chief announced constitution of a committee for carving new provinces in the country. “The aim of creating new provinces will not be to promote ethnic, lingual or racial differences within the country but to ease the challenges of the people,” he asserted.
Talking about the challenges faced by farmers in south Punjab, he said that the government needs to subsidise the agriculture sector and introduce reforms similar to those initiated by the Indian government.
“From fertilisers to electricity, our government will devise a strategy to promote the agriculture sector and will make arrangements to export all the commodities by providing subsidy to small farmers.”
Imran mentioned his upcoming rally in Larkana on November21, and termed it a day of deliverance for the suppressed people of Sindh. “I will give independence to Sindh from the feudal rule of Zardari and his coalition partners.”
The political gathering of PTI in Multan is considered as the biggest political gathering in the history of south Punjab.
PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi claimed that there were 150,000 participants in and outside the stadium — on the roofs of the houses, on trees, and on the roads, everywhere.
