Kill and dump: Mutilated body found from Sibi

Police say the motive behind the murder could be personal enmity

QUETTA: A mutilated body was found dumped in a desolate place in Sibi while a man was shot dead in the provincial capital’s Hazarganji area on Thursday. According to an official, the body found from hills near Sibi was half eaten by wild animals. “The body was mutilated beyond recognition and the local people have buried it,” official sources said. Balochistan Levies had started an investigation into the incident. Separately, a man identified as Manzoor Ahmed was shot dead by assailants in Hazarganji area. “Police have started investigation into the murder. The motive behind the murder could be personal enmity,” a police officer said.
