Fighting Polio: LGH to provide polio drops during Eid

LAHORE: A special counter has been established at the Lahore General Hospital (LGH) to administer polio vaccine during Eid holidays. According to a statement, polio drops will be administered to people who want to travel abroad from 8.00am to 3.00pm from October 6 to 8. Post Graduate Medical Institute Principal Prof Anjum Habib Vohra said that the Health Department was committed to eradicating polio from the society. “All departments are working actively to save the children from the threat of polio. The media should also play its role to raise awareness among people about the disease,” he said.
