Alleged police torture: Woman dies in Sargodha

Case has been registered against police officials, who allegedly tortured the woman during a raid at her son's house

SARGODHA: A woman died in Sargodha as a result of alleged police torture, Express News reported on Saturday.

The police conducted a raid at the house of man, identified as Arshad, who married the person of his own choice in 2009. During the raid, the police reportedly tortured Arshad's mother and as a result she passed away.

The policemen, who allegedly tortured the woman, managed to flee after the incident.

A case has been registered against the police officials.
