Extortion : ‘An ASI ransacked my snooker club’
Asim said he ran a snooker club in Millat Park and ASI Asif Butt used to extort money from him
LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge sought comments from the Samanabad SHO on a plea by a man seeking registration of a case against a policeman who allegedly ransacked his shop after he refused to give him protection money. Asim said he ran a snooker club in Millat Park. ASI Asif Butt used to extort money from him on the assurance that they would not raid his club. He said a few days ago Butt demanded the money but he told him that he did not have it. “Butt became furious and took away a fridge and a television among other items from my shop,” said Asim.
