Sexual assault: Minor assaulted in Kot Najibullah

The 10-year-old was playing outside when an unidentified person approached him

HARIPUR: An unidentified man raped a minor boy in Kot Najibullah. Police confirmed the incident on Wednesday and said the victim’s medical reports indicate he had been raped. According to a report filed with the Kot Najibullah police, the boy’s uncle, a resident of Mohallah Khandak, said his 10-year-old nephew was playing outside on Tuesday afternoon when an unidentified person approached him. He asked him to pick corn cobs for him from a nearby maize field and offered to pay him Rs140. The boy agreed, however, when they went into the field, the man forced himself on the minor. An investigation is under way.
