ISLAMABAD: The interior ministry issued on Wednesday a security alert to all provinces for Eidul Azha, sources told Express News.
In a statement, the ministry warned all provincial governments of backlash against the ongoing military operation in North Waziristan.
The ministry advised police and other law enforcement agencies to increase coordination and asked authorities to ensure Eid prayers are held in confined spaces.
