Afghanistan to sign US security agreement on Tuesday
US embassy spokesperson says Ashraf Ghani will sign the agreement at the presidential palace
KABUL:
Afghanistan will on Tuesday sign a crucial security agreement allowing the United States to leave a small contingent of troops in the country beyond this year, a US embassy spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said Afghanistan's new President Ashraf Ghani would sign the agreement in the morning at the presidential palace in the capital, Kabul.
