#100HAPPYDAYS Mother-daughter duo: Saba Hameed and Meesha Shafi

Good genes have been passed on by Saba to Meesha

September 26, 2014

Nothing tugs at our heartstrings like seeing a snap of as talented a mother-daughter duo as Saba Hameed and Meesha Shafi. Exuding the versatility and of course, good genes, that have been passed on by Saba to Meesha, the photograph speaks volumes of the bond between the two. Saba has reigned over the Pakistani television industry since 1980. She is known for both her stints in TV productions like Ek Tamanna Lahasil Si and the 1990s famous sit-com Family Front. Ever since Meesha ventured into modelling at the age of 17, she has had an ‘overload’ of accomplishments. As a singer, she is known for her association with the Pakistani band Overload and renditions of Jugni and Chori Chori on the Coke Studio platform. She will soon be seen weaving magic with her voice on the show’s ongoing seventh season. We wish Saba and Meesha the best for their respective careers.
