Shootout in Khuzdar: Three activists killed in fake encounter, BNP

Bodies were dumped by security forces in the Wadh area of troubled Khuzdar district

QUETTA: The Balochistan National Party (BNP) has said three missing party activists were killed in a fake encounter and their bodies were dumped by security forces in the Wadh area of the troubled Khuzdar district. Security personnel killed three militants of the Lashkar e Balochistan and United Baloch Army (UBA) in an exchange of fire on Monday, a spokesperson for the Frontier Corps said. A large quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered from the men, who were identified as Khalil Ahmed, Liaquat and Aziz Mengal, all residents of Wadh.
