Heroin bust: Smuggling bid foiled, man held

The suspect is under interrogation.

RAWALPINDI: Customs officials on Tuesday foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to the UK and arrested a passenger at Benazir Bhutto International Airport. Muhammad Ismail, who hails from Nowshera, was booked for Birmingham when the customs team found four kg of heroin in his briefcase. The heroin was concealed in secret compartments, a Customs official added. The suspect is under interrogation.
