Political crisis: Army has saved democracy says Hashmi
MULTAN:
For the first time in the country’s history, the army has saved democracy, Javed Hashmi said on Saturday. He was talking to reporters at his residence in Multan. “The sit-ins drama is over now. The army has realised that there is no place for dictatorship in today’s Pakistan,” he said. “I am still the president of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI). I have not received any show-cause notice. I will soon issue a show-cause notice to Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the PTI’s vice-chairman, asking him to explain why he had contested the 2013 elections from Ghotki as an independent candidate,” Hashmi said. “If the party issues me a show-cause notice, I shall reveal some more facts,” he said. He said he would not resign from his party office.

wish he went to china to seek the tratment for his mental disorder few weeks ago. i guess nawaz offered to pick up the bill.
@Ali: Hashmi is sincere to principles. That is why he did not bow before Musharraf and was incarcerated. He is not "smart and foxy" or he would have compromised and apologized to Musharraf rather than go through the suffering of imprisonment.
PML (N) horse has been in PTI for years and no one was able to figure it out. This guy is too smart and foxy.
