Modern forensics: Sindh IGP forms DNA lab committee

KARACHI: Sindh IGP Ghulam Haider Jamali constituted a four-member committee for recommendations to establish an independent DNA laboratory during a meeting at the Central Police Office. The committee includes the South DIGP, CIA DIGP, East DIGP and Sindh forensic division AIG. The Sindh government has also approved the laboratory. Jamali stressed that modern forensic equipment would improve the police’s investigative skills.
