Collaboration: IBA Sukkur signs partnership with ICAP

KARACHI: Institute of Business Administration (Sukkur IBA) recently signed a partnership collaboration agreement with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). As a result, graduates of BS (Accounting & Finance) from Sukkur IBA will have an opportunity to become Chartered Accountants with an exemption from eight papers of CA curriculum. This alliance will strengthen the brand of both the partnering institutions and fulfillment of ICAP vision of recruiting quality graduates with university exposure and sound academic background. Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui, director Sukkur IBA, said that the collaboration can provide an opportunity to a talented chunk of the students in rural areas by giving them a novel option of pursuing chartered accountancy as a career.
