ADR committee and task force notified

ISLAMABAD:

The Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan has reconstituted the committee and the task force that deal with alternate dispute resolution (ADR).

According to a notification issued by the secretary of the commission, Supreme Court's Justice Yahya Khan Afridi will chair the committee, with Justice Ayesha Malik and Justice Shahid Waheed also serving as members. To assist the committee for alternative dispute resolution, a task force has also been formed.

The task force members include Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar, Lahore High Court's Justice Jawad Hassan; Sindh High Court's Justice Yousuf Ali Sayeed; Peshawar High Court's Justice Syed Muhammad Attique Shah and Islamabad High Court's Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb. District and session judges Sadaf Khokhar, Uzma Farnaaz, Shabana Mehsud, and Shamsuddin Sipra will also be task force members, along with Civil Judge Sanam Bukhari.

AGP Mansoor Awan and representatives from the Ministry of Law will be included in the task force. All provincial advocate generals will also be task force members, as will Advocates Makhdoom Ali Khan and Faisal Naqvi, along with the secretary of the Law and Justice Commission.
