The varsity used a biometrics software to ensure the elections were conducted in a transparent manner. The software was designed for the purpose by the varsity’s IT department. Students contested for the posts of president, vice-president, general-secretary, joint secretary and treasurer. The elections are held every year, with the student body responsible for organising extra-curricular activities to promote unity, leadership and representation for the students.
