QUETTA:

Inspector General Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan presided over a security conference held on Monday to review the law and order situation and possible spill over of terrorists to Zhob in the wake of operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Zhob shares border with both Waziristan and Afghanistan. There was a comprehensive briefing on the security measures which had been adopted to maintain law and order in the district.

IG FC Major General Ejaz Shahid urged the cooperation among the LEA’s to be improved in order to achieve ‘durable’ peace in Balochistan. Shahid said that every institution needs to play its role adequately. “FC will always be there to help the civil administration in any part of the province.”
