Bomb blast: Sheen Qamar-Fort Slope bridge destroyed

BARA: A bridge was destroyed in a blast in Sheen Qamar, Bara in Khyber Agency on Monday. A high-intensity bomb was planted by unidentified militants underneath the structure which connects Sheen Qamar and Fort Slope. The loud sound caused panic in the area, said a khasadar official who was on duty there. He said the bomb exploded at 8am. The khasadar personnel said the Frontier Corps and security forces rushed to the site and started a search operation in the surrounding areas. No arrests could be confirmed till the filing of this report.
