Round-up: Police arrest nine in Pindi

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi police on Monday arrested nine suspects in different areas of the city. The police also recovered 1,150 grams of heroin, 550 gram hashish, 12 bottles of liquor, 14 litre wine and a 7-mm rifle with 35 rounds. According to a Rawalpindi police spokesman, Civil Lines police netted Wazir with 1,150 gram heroine. Pirwadhai police nabbed Sher Azam for possessing 550 gram hashish. Shabbir was sent behind the bars on recovery of 10 bottles of liquor from his custody. Civil Lines police also arrested Sajid in possession two bottles of liquor. Waris Khan police held Mudasir and Irshad and seized 10 liter wine. Bunni police also seized four liter wine. Saddar Wah police rounded up Tahir on recovery of a seven mm rifle with 25 rounds.
