In his meeting with Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaz Aziz in Dushanbe, Tajikistan as part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit, the Chinese president reiterated his desire to meet PM Nawaz, and to visit Pakistan.
Jinping reiterated that Pak-China friendship was “evergreen”, and also offered help for rehabilitation of victims hit by recent floods in the country that has killed over 200 people.
The Chinese president’s visit to Pakistan, scheduled for the second week of September, was postponed after his security team failed to provide clearance in the wake of protests in Islamabad's red zone.
Jinping is in Tajikistan to attend the 14th summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation leaders’ meeting.

@Muhammad Rizwan Ali: You live in China? Good. Please enlighten us then whatare opinion of Chinese hovernment about 1) face veil 2) roza
@Muhammad Rizwan Ali Yes we don't want to lie down before China. We know to play our cards. Pakistan is going way overboard in the friendship with China. May have to pay later.
@Muhammad Rizwan Ali: Chinese people hate muslims and only thing that make bond between pakistan and China is India hating. we all know how much difficulties associated to get a visa for pakis other than businessmen
I am amused as well as disappointed by the overtly love of Pakistan towards china.it is only friend for profit, man nothing else.
@Raj - USA: I am a Pakistani living in China, the relationship between China and Pakistan are evergreen, two days before The Chinese president said, the all Chinese people love Pakistan, and Pakistani friendship, any Government in Pakistan, the relations will be same. I also see here the sentiments of Chinese people about India, not good, as India always tried to rule this area, and China can never allow,Only trade relationship with India develop, that is in benefit of China
Great advice from a country with one political party which had a long history of killing/jailing anybody foolish enough to try and protest against them.
@Ch. Allah Daad: Yes let's take advice from a Communist on how to handle protesters, just the solution we need. Mr.Chaudhry you do realize what happens to feudals in Communism right?

Thank you Mr. President. We don't deserve your friendship knowing what we really are.
Enlightened words of a man who never allow democracy in there backyard. Great.....
Please don't give us advice which you don't follow in your own country. Tell us how to eliminate these anarchists without fear of any organorganization.
Hope his visit will materialize in October 2014 this year to start new era of developing modern Pakistan envisaged by MNS.Forces that were behind killing or kidnaping of Chinese engineers in Pakistan over last many years are once again active in Islamabad to keep Chinese premier away from Pakistan. They want to destabilize this country for their ugly agenda.Shame on dharna walas.
Kissinger played a great role in building US - China relations. Khan and Qadri are playing a great role in buinding up India - China relations. Cancellation of China's president's visit to Pakistan due to the on-going demonstrations and protests will be very helpful to India. This cancellation of visit to Pakistan gives China's President an extra day of stay in India to celebrate Modi's 64th birthday.
This is what China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs say regarding the visit of China's President to India: http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/mfaeng/wjdt665385/wshd_665389/t1190103.shtml
Important to note what China's president said on Spet. 9 when he met India's National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval about Modi and the nature/purpose of this visit. He says: "During our attendance at the BRICS Summit in Brazil this July, Prime Minister Modi and I met for the first time, and I felt like meeting an old friend. Prime Minister Modi and I had nice talks and reached multiple consensuses. We both believe that China-India relations are of highly strategic character and the bilateral cooperation not only conduces to each other's development and revitalization, benefiting the two countries and peoples, but also brings benefit to Asia and the world at large."
When he says, "I felt like meeting an old friend" when he talks of Modi and "China-India relations are of highly strategic character" when he is discussing his visit to India with India's National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval are not ordinary statements.
We want to welcome you Sir in Islamabad , just wait for few days when helpless and frustrated anarchists will be on their way back home !
