Tremors: Moderate quake hits Nawabshah
No major loss to property was reported.
HYDERABAD:
A mild quake, recorded at 4.3 on the Richter scale, hit Nawabshah for the third time in three months on Wednesday afternoon, leaving at least seven persons injured. Earlier, tremors of 4.5 and 4.6 magnitudes had hit Nawabshah on September 6 and May 9, respectively. The epicenter of this quake was located 70 kilometres northeast of the district and 10 kilometres deep. Seven persons with minor injuries were given first aid at the Peoples Medical College hospital. No major loss to property was reported.
