KARACHI: An attack on naval dockyard on Saturday night was foiled by Pakistan Navy.

According to a Navy spokesperson, two militants were killed while four others captured by security forces during the attack on the eve of Defence day.

One Navy official was also killed in the attack, while one officer and six sailors were injured in an operation which lasted nearly eight hours.

The spokesperson added that no material loss took place and that the area was cleared for normal activities the same day.

Based on questioning of the arrested militants, raids were carried out which led to further arrest of other collaborators and accomplices from different parts of the country. During these raids, large quantity of arms and ammunition were also recovered.

Further inquiries and investigations by intelligence and other law enforcement agencies are continuing.

Chief of Naval Staff appreciated the the personnel involved in the operation. He also visited injured personnel and individually appreciated and acknowledged their bravery.

Earlier in August, at least 12 militants, wearing suicide vests and armed with rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) and automatic weapons were killed in an 11-hour gun battle near Khalid Aviation airbase and Samungli airbase in Quetta.

Long live Pakistan ! Long live our LEAs and our armed forces! These miscreants , terrorists and our enemies should know that they are not confronting an ordinary country with ordinary people – every god fearing and patriot Pakistani is ready to sacrifice his/her life for Pakistan without any hesitation. We will fight till our last breath and drop of blood to vanquish Pakistan’s enemies, alhamdulillah.

Well done and hats off to security personnel who have dealt effectively with the anti state cowards and foreign criminals. It shows that their ability to cause trouble is being degraded.
I wonder what the background of the criminals is because we have heard that many attacks are by Uzbeks, Afghans and Arabs living in the country illegally.

These 4 arrested ones have no right to live. So please squeeze every bit of information out of them then feed them to the lions. Lions are more deserving of a life than them.
