ABBOTABAD/ PESHAWAR:

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s provincial president Pir Sabir Shah had to apologise on Monday for calling the PTI protest in the federal capital a ‘mujra’. On the other hand, the PML-N also held a protest against the K-P government in the provincial capital.

Taking exception

Those gathered at the oath-taking ceremony of Havelian Press Club, Abbottabad, quoted Shah as saying Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa was facing numerous problems, yet the PTI government, including Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, was performing a mujra in front of the Parliament in the federal capital.

PTI candidate for NA-18, Abbottabad, Sikandar Azam Khan, took strong exception to the PML-N leader’s remarks and interrupted his speech.

Sikandar reminded Shah PTI was simply exercising its right to protest and reminded the provincial president of similar measures taken by the PML-N against PPP governments in the past. “You cannot justify the acts of your leadership and discredit others who are protesting against your party,” Sikandar asserted.

He asked Shah to apologise for using the word mujra to describe the PTI sit-in. The PML-N leader apologised immediately and the event was allowed to continue.

‘Send Khattak back’

Meanwhile, in Peshawar, the PML-N urged PTI Chairman Imran Khan to send K-P CM Pervez Khattak back to the province from Islamabad for the sake of the people.

PML-N workers, with placards held aloft, gathered outside Peshawar Press Club on Monday and chanted slogans against the PTI government. Sher Shah Suri Road was blocked for around an hour due to the demonstration.

The party’s K-P General Secretary Rahmat Salam Khattak and district leader Arbab Khizar Hayat Khan led the protest, saying they were shocked the PTI government deserted the province in its time of need.

Rahmat slammed the chief minister for ignoring people displaced from North Waziristan.

who really cares if there is music in the PTI gathering...do not judge people...Allah will judge everyone we humans are not capable to pass such judgments.....these politicians stop using morality or religion to fool us, the public is fed of those two tools being used over and over again.

It seems the PML-N don't seem to know that KPK CM Pervaiz goes to Peshawar daily, does his job and then in the evening he goes to Islamabad to attend the Dharna. He knows his responsibility and continues to do it. Yesterday, on Samaa TV they showed Shahbaz Sharif visiting a fake relief camp, lol. Very disappointing that continue to play such deceitful games.
