CHARSADDA: Awami National Party Central President Asfandyar Wali Khan said on Monday no one can make Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resign.

“Nawaz Sharif is the elected prime minister of the country and no one can force him to resign,” said Khan at an ANP’s workers convention held in Charsadda.

The ANP leader said his party also had reservations regarding the 2013 general elections but they accepted the results in the nation’s interest. However,he added, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has started protesting against alleged rigging after a year has passed.

ANP will resist any unconstitutional move against democracy, he added.

“The nation is currently facing a crisis due to floods. It would be better for Qadri [chief of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek] and Imran Khan to end their dharnas,” said Khan.

That's true - why would the political parties allow this change to happen; after all their means to make money in illegal ways through the nation's resources are linked up however the faces in the front may change but the core business at the background remains the same (i.e build up their savings at the expense of the Nation's future and continue to transfer their funds abroad) .......the nation needs to open up their eyes otherwise continue to remain the slaves of these people and later to their children - is this acceptable to you?

Protest is because people are TOTALLY fed-up - nothing can or should stop the protest - otherwise nothing will ever change. Power to the people.
