Education under threat: school teacher kidnapped in Panjgur
Teacher driven away to an unknown location
QUETTA:
A school teacher was kidnapped by a group of armed men in Gharebabad Chitkan area of Panjgur district on Sunday. Recently, schools were attacked in Panjgur, western district of Balochistan, for imparting co-education and teaching English books. No group has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping so far. According to police, schoolteacher Mohammed Abdul Wahid along with his brother was coming home from Panjgur bazaar in his car when a group of armed men intercepted their pick-up. The armed men drove the teacher away to unknown place sparing his elder brother Zahoor Ahmed.
