The cm’s visit: Government to distribute free wheat in Tharparkar

Shah said that doctors had been appointed in Tharparkar district's hospitals

The chief minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, said that the provincial government will be distributing wheat to the people of Tharparkar free of cost.


He added that the young people of the area would also be given jobs on a priority basis.


During his visit to Tharparkar on Sunday, the chief minister said that 50 RO plants were functional across the desert and the government planned on fixing around a 100 more to address the water scarcity issue.

Shah said that doctors had been appointed in Tharparkar district's hospitals and claimed that health facilities in the area had improved.

According to Deputy Commissioner Asif Ikram, 253,580 families will receive 126,790 wheat sacks within two weeks.
