KARACHI: Saiban International Welfare Organisation (SIWO) has appealed to Sindh chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to extend the route of the recently inaugurated CNG bus fleet. The current route is from Quaidabad to Tower, while the requested route would be from Gulshan-e-Hadeed to Tower. SIWO senior vice chairperson Saleem Khan, general secretary Hyder Ali Hyder, joint secretary Fatah Muhammad Qureshi and coordination secretary Fakhrunnisa Fakhar made this appeal in a joint statement on Saturday. They pointed out that the existing route was already served by several buses, while the requested route only had one bus, the Muslim coach.

They added that the drivers and conductors of this coach were disrespectful to passengers, often making them disembark at Quaidabad and pay double fares.
