IED Blasts: Two FC officials, two others injured

Another blast in the agency on Saturday morning injured one.

BAJAUR: An IED exploded during a search operation near the Pak-Afghan border on Saturday, injuring a peace committee member and two FC officials. All the injured were shifted to Additional Headquarters Hospital Khar, Bajuar Agency, where their condition is said to be stable. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility of the blast near the border, said the group’s spokesperson Shahidullah Shahid. Another blast in the agency on Saturday morning injured one. An official of the Nawagai political administration said Sherzaman, a resident of Hilal Khel Charmang, was wounded when an IED planted in front of his home went off.
