KARACHI: PPP leader Rehman Malik has said the deadlock between government and marchers has ended and people will hear good news soon. “We will not tolerate the politics of shroud and graves. Wearing the shrouds and digging the graves in our capital is not new Pakistan, rather it pushes us toward stone stage,” the former interior minister said talking to the media at a local hotel on Thursday. Political parties in parliament by joining hands have already set precedent of making new Pakistan, therefore PTI and PAT should give up their protest. Malik said the political jirga was seeking a viable solution to the demand of the resignation of prime minister that would be acceptable to government, Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri. Regarding MQM leader’s statement he said, “We can change the name jirga if Altaf Bhai has any reservation on it.” To a question, he said that PPP has decided to get explanation from PAT leader Tahirul Qadri on his remarks against Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
