Carmudi, the online vehicle platform, distributed five bicycles on Thursday among underprivileged children.

The event was held in collaboration with Possibilities, a managerial consultancy and Roshni Homes Trust, an organisation dedicated to the welfare of orphan children.  The event was held to provide children with their first cycles. Representatives of possibilities held group exercises to assemble the cycles and then donated them to the children.

Carmudi Country Manager Ali Izhar said happy children make for a happy future. He said organisations such as Roshni make it possible for people to collectively contribute to society.

Roshni Homes Trust Fundraising Director Khwaja Shirjeel said Carmudi had been a longstanding supporter of the organisation.  He said it had played a crucial role in holding the event in a befitting manner.

Fatima Ali, a three-year old child, said she was delighted to have a cycle. She said she had always wanted to have one.

Salman Ahmed, another child, said assembling cycles was a lot of fun. He said he was happy to have a bike.
