MULTAN:
Multan Corps dispatched a consignment of relief goods for internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Wazirastan Agency on Wednesday. As many as five trucks carrying 18 tonnes of flour, pulses, rice, biscuits, dry milk and medicines were dispatched to Bannu under the supervision Logistics Commander Brigadier Liaqat Ali. Pakistan Army set up a relief goods collection centre at Chamanzar Askari Lake. Corps Commander Multan Lt Gen Abid Pervez and said a number of philanthropists had donated for relief drive. Logistics Commander Brigadier Liaqat Ali said Operation Zarb-i-Azb had been successful so far. He paid tribute to IDPs for rendering sacrifices for the security of the country.
