A man was killed and four others were injured when a car fell into a gorge in Sir Khar area of Shangla.
A police official said the victims were on their way to Lew from Pattan on Sunday night when the driver lost control of the vehicle as it reached Sir Khar, sending it plummeting into the gorge.
He added driver Abdul Qahar died on the spot, while Sarwar, Abdul Qadoos, Aurangzeb and Rasul Shah were injured.
Police and locals shifted the injured to a nearby hospital, while the body of the driver was later handed over to his family.
The injured men were later referred to Ayub Medical Complex.
